Last night Kelly Price performed live at Tongue & Groove for WassupNATL’s Grown & sexy Sundays. After her first scheduled performance was canceled back in December due to weather, Kelly had promised to make it and return in January.

Atlanta has been unseasonably cold this winter season. Back in December, R&B singer Kelly Price was scheduled to perform at Djangos for Wassup N ATL’s Grown & Sexy Sundays, but mother nature threw a curve ball and the show had to be postponed due to Kelly’s flight being canceled. But some things happen for a reason. This weekend, for the first time since November, the weather will blossom like spring with near 60 degree temperature and all sunshine just in time for Kelly Price’s rescheduled show with Wassup N ATL at their brand new Sunday night Grown & Sexy venue, Tongue & Groove (located at Lindbergh Station).

During Atlanta Black Pride 2010, American Idol Fantasia Barrino performed on Friday at the Atlanta Peach for WassupNATL’s MANUAL LABOR party. Along with Fantasia, So So Def Recording artist Dondria performed and Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland came to show the kids some love.

On Friday night of Atlanta Black Gay Pride, WassupNATL hosted their special edition of Destination Fridays at the Atlanta Peach with a special performance by Fantasia Barrino and Dondria, and a guest appearance by Destiny’s Child Kelly Rowland. The announcements and celebrities keep rolling in for Atlanta Black Pride weekend. Fresh off the heels of her “Pay Homage” tirade on Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim will be in Atlanta, GA  performing at Vita nightclub on Saturday, September 4th for WassupNATL’s MAN-U-AL Labor weekend.

This will be Lil Kim’s second time performing for Atlanta Black Pride weekend, last year she gave a remarkable performance at Traxx Atlanta nightclub.  Lil Kim recently signed a brand advertisement deal with Proximo Spirits to be the face of  the company’s new Three Olives vodka flavor, Purple. Last week, Lil Kim took her show International to Tanzania for one of the popular music festival in East and Central Africa, Fiesta bash.
