We at WhatsTheT.com are overly excited at the fact that a 9 year old little girl is taking the music scene by STORM! Literally, she came out of left field and everyone was instantly hooked! She definitely has what Jay-Z called that Michael Jackson star power.
So here we are, looking through news feeds and up pops a video of a group of elementary and maybe middle school aged girls, “whippin’ their hair back and forth”to Willow Smith’s song “Whip My Hair”. All we can say is watch the video below of these young ladies getting it without making it look trashy or beyond their age.
As if the original song wasn’t enough of a mess for the world, the people at BarelyPolitical via YouTube have made a parody that’s sure to make you chuckle! Please take a look below and prepare for a good laugh.
Here is the video for David Guetta’s song “Memories (Remix)” featuring Kid Cudi. The video was shot in the streets of Miami then it transitioned into a Miami club. Its a nice video, but nothing to shake a stick at. Take a look after the jump.
UK singer Craig David just premiered the video for his song, “One More Lie (Standing In The Shadows)”from his upcoming album“Signed Sealed Delivered”. I love this song and video! Its a hot dance/club track. The video is set in some club in Miami where David is enjoying the scenery and partying it up with fellow club goers. Take a look below.
He had this to say via blog about his whereabouts and what’s going on with this new album of his:
…I’m really excited actually because it’s all starting to come together. We’re getting the album mastered next week, which means making sure all the levels of the songs work together, and putting the songs in the order they’re going to be on the record. Then, literally in a week and a half’s time, we’ll have a finished album! As I think you all know, the album is Motown-inspired. We wanted to do a record that allowed me to record and perform songs that I’ve always wanted to sing, but really didn’t have the opportunity to before as I was constantly writing new material. It’s given me the chance to be able to do more classic songs that I love from this amazing era. People don’t always realise that Motown was about songs that came purely off the Motown Records label, it wasn’t a genre or a style. They had so many amazing artists, from Marvin Gaye to Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and The Temptations…to be able to sing those songs as well as having new songs on the album that I’ve written too feels really good.
Here is “Miss Ker Baby” featuring Akon in a new video for their song “Change Me”. The song is hot but Akon can kill a DAMN GOOD SONG! I do think that Miss Hilson looks stunning and breath taking in this video. So take a look and enjoy.
The Barbados beauty, Shontelle, premiered her video for directed by “Licky (Under The Covers)”Ray Kay. If I’m not mistaken, I believe the shades she’s rocking in this video are that ofSBShadesbut I would have to investigate further. Take a look and tell me if you see any similarities in her video compared to another female pop star, hehehehe!
So what do you think? But nonetheless it’s a hot video and hot song! Get into it!
R&B crooner Sade has premiered a video for her song “Solider of Love” and I like it! In true Sade fashion, she delivers a unique video that matches the tone and essence for this song. The ‘solider theme’ is persistent throughout and the video is semi dark and mysterious. Take a look below.
Soul R&B singer,KeKe Wyatt, premiered her music video yesterday for her song “Who Knew”. I must have been under a ROCK, ’cause I surely do NOT remember hearing this song before the video was released! At any rate, she is suppose to drop her highly anticipated album on February 23, 2010! Check out the video below!
Well from the looks of things, she is STILL maintaining that flawless look of hers and singing her heart out! I love KeKe Wyatt! I can’t wait to see/hear more music from her in the near future! Your views?
R&B ‘panty dropper’ Trey Songz premieres his music video for “Say Ahh”, featuring Fabolousfrom the successful album “Ready”. One of my favorite underrated artists, Wynter Gordon, made a guest appearance along with Mr. DJ Clue himself! This video was directed by Yolande Geralds in what looks like a NYC location. Take a look below!
For all intents and purposes, I don’t see what the hell was suppose to be going on in this video. I mean it’s cute and all but where is the direction, the storyline, the grit, the party? This song makes you want to move and the video is just a bunch of people standing in a nice lounge or house gathering, drinking, and chilling. Where they do that at, especially for a club song?
Jay-Z just premiered his video for his song, “On To The Next One”, featuring Swizz Beatz. The video gives abstract art meets hip hop music video. Its on the verge of what some may call creepy, however I love the video and it kind of made me like this song. Take a look below and give your thoughts.
