Last nighton the Jimmy Kimmel show usher simply slayed the stage performing  “DJ Got Us Fallin In Love” and “There Goes My Baby”. Usher had the spunk, the jazz, and the vocals all in sync last night!!! Usher starts his 25 city “OMG” tour on November 10th in Seatle, WA with special guest R&B crooner Trey Songz!

VEVO has premiered the new video for Usher’s “DJ Got Us Falling In Love” single from Usher’s new album VERSUS. The Hiro Murai  (B.o.B “Airplanes”) directed video features Usher in a dimmed warehouse with dancers, the DJ, and a appearance from rapper Pitbull who is featured on the song. Unlike many of Usher’s recent videos, he’s dancing a lot more which is something we love.

Usher rocked the Good Morning America summer concert series stage yesterday on ABC performing his new single “DJ Got Us Falling In Love” and his mega hit “OMG”. His EP, VERSUS, hits store this Tuesday, August 24th.

It also looks like Usher may be taking Ne-Yo’s shine come MTV VMA Award time. Earlier this week Ne-Yo vented:

As we mentioned earlier this month, Usher’s has a new EP, “Versus”, that hits stores and Itunes on August 24th. The first single was released a few weeks ago featuring PItbull called “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love“.

Now here’s another track from the forthcoming album featuring Jay-Z and Ester Dean called “Hot Toddy”. It was first believed that Ciara would be on this track but it looks like Cici wont get to shine on this new track. Take a listen…

This single has been out for quite sometime. Not sure what took so long for the video to come out. And while Usher’s album is doing very well on the charts and sells, it still seems that usher is missing that sparkle he had years ago.

Ne-Yo “Beautiful Monster”, “Champagne Life”

I am a huge Ne-Yo fan; however this single has been very unimpressive and now that Ne-Yo has added this long drawn out “acting” skit to the video for “Beautiful Monster”….BLAH! Thank God for his JUST IN CASE MONSTER FLOPS I’M COVERED single “Champagne Life” (I love this track)!

Chris Brown “Matrix”

Last but never least, the once underdog of the three, Chris Brown, is getting ready to release a special video for his fans for the track “12 Strands (Matrix)” which did not make the final cut of his last album Graffitti. From the preview below, I am intrigued and can’t wait to see the full video! Chris Brown is about to TAKE OVER AND SAVE the male R&B/Pop industry! The preview makes me want to go somewhere and try some MATRIX type ISH!

If you can’t get enough of Usher’s new album Raymond V. Raymond which was released March 30 of this year, then boy does Usher have a special treat for you! Versus, the final chapter to Raymond V. Raymond will be released on Tuesday, August 24th. Yesterday, it was announced that Versus includes 8 brand new tracks including the lead single “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” featuring Pitbull! Also dropping on August 24th is Raymond V. Raymond (The Deluxe Edition) which will combine all 22 songs from Raymond V. Raymond and Versus.

You can’t knock the hustle, the new marketing strategy now from record labels seem to be repackaging and adding more songs for a re-release to gain more sales!

Yesterday, Usher was a suprise guest on The Oprah Show for her “Star Studded Harpo Hookups” episode. At the finale of the show, Usher performed his #1 single “OMG” with Will I Am who also produced the track. This was one of Usher’s best performances on TV I’ve seen in a minute and the song is sooooo contagious! It even had Oprah doing her 1-2 step!

I can see everyone on the rooftop of Space in Miami during Sizzle with their shirts off getting their life! Get into Usher’s performance below! Did he nail it?

So a few weeks ago, we were sent a video of a dance choreographer group who had allegedly sent in a choreography video to Usher’s camp back in February for Usher’s “Lil Freak” to be considered for the video. According to the source close to the matter, Usher’s camp never got back in contact with the choreographer but a month later the official “Lil Freak” video came out and low and behold the choreography was pretty much to the T of that of what was submitted. In addition to that, the source stated that not only did they use the choreographer but also replaced the same type dancers based on the video that was sent in (i.e. the white girl in the video) as well as used the same light effects that the choreographer had a special video producer record for their video submission.

While we can’t deny nor confirm when and if this video was submitted, we can say things do “just happen” in the entertainment industry all the time so we will let you be the judge. Take a look at the two videos. Did someone get swagger-jacked?
