Here is a sneak peak of Trey Songz’s new video for his lead single “Bottoms Up” featuring Nicki Minaj. Missing from the preview is Nicki Minaj. Guess we will have to wait and see what color wig Nicki sports when the official video comes out.
Trey Songz is currently on his “Passion, Pain, & Pleasure” tour with R&B singer Monica. The tour has been getting rave review from both critics and fans alike. His fourth studio LP, Passion, Pain, & Pleasure, will be in stores and available online September 14th.
Another track from Trey Songz forthcoming album “Passion, Pain, & Pleasure” has hit the internet. This time Trey is giving us a smooth and passionate R&B track called “Can’t be Friends”. The single is the contrast of his other new single “Bottoms Up” featuring Nicki Minaj and WELCOMED!

R&B crooner Trey Songz has teamed up with the Barbie of Rap, Nicki Minaj, for his first single “Bottoms Up” from his forthoming 4th studio album Passion, Pain, & Pleasure.
In a recent interview with ThatGrapeJuice.net when asked whether his new album would cater to a broader audience music-wise, Trey stated he had no plans to turn away from his strong urban R&B roots. This single definitely reaffirms his statement!

So when we did our twitter poll on predictions for the BET Awards, we had no idea that @fierce_nyc‘s prediction of “Prince will have on the highest pumps and own it!” would mean Prince would have Miss Patti Labelle’s pumps!
Last night at the BET Awards, eclectic Janelle Monae, Esperanza Spalding, Alicia Keys, and Patti Labelle all paid tribute to Prince as he received the BET Lifetime Achievement Award and they all did a remarkable job paying tribute to the Legend!

Yesterday on twitter, we declared Ludacris’s “Sex Room” as the Sizzle After Dark slow jam of the weekend. Fresh from the Palm Hotel penthouse in Las Vegas to the NET, here’s the sexy and provocative video to “Sex Room” which features the ever-so-smooth Trey Songz.
“Sex Room” is the third single from Ludarcris’s Battle of the Sexes.
Trey Songz aka “Trigga”, recently completed his first MTV Unplugged performance in New York City at Manhattan’s NEP Studio 33. A huge moment in his career Trey stated:
“At this point in my career, with all the opportunity arising, this is definitely a major highlight within those opportunities,” he says. “I saw a write up on MTV.com and they described my performance as a star-making set. That’s crazy to read, and I think “Unplugged” has been that for so many people. It’s a chance to highlight an artist, a chance for them to be vulnerable, a chance for them to contort their music and give it to people a different way. To show that I’m truly an artist and that I love to do what I do, making music. To do it on that platform, the same one as so many artist before me is just really amazing.”
Trey’s current studio album “Ready” is certified Gold and Trey constantly stays on the road promoting and performing. R&B singer Monica confirmed on Fox Atlanta a few weeks ago that she would be going on tour with Trey later this summer. Kevin Liles, Trey Songz manager, recently revealed to MTV that Trey would have another album coming out in September as well as a reality show airing the night of the BET Awards called the Blueprint 3 [Tour experience] from the eyes of Jeezy and Trey Songz. I ain’t mad at you Trey! VA Power!!!

Trey Songz | “Absolute Heat (Freestyle)”
Yes you heard it right! But this time Trey Songz said it in a freestyle rap song that leaked out. The song is titled “Absolute Heat” and Trey isn’t holding back with this one! He says, “I’m so vers dude, the versatility, really be, having _____ in the industry really feeling me…” The lyrics aren’t that clear but make your own conclusion as to what he was saying. The beat is taken from DJ Drama‘s“Feds Takin Pictures” song.
Now, I know that this may not seem like much, however, to some people it’s saying ENOUGH! And I’m NOT jumping on the “He’s Gay Train!!!”, it’s just funny hearing him say those words given his track record. Take a listen and tell me your thoughts! Hmmmm…
Last night, Trey Songz appeared on The Monique Show in an effort to continue promoting his lastest project “Ready” which has sold 438,000 copies in the United States. And now…THE GOOD! Trey has joined the Jay-Z Blueprint tour which has added more cities. Trey along with Young Jeezy are opening acts. Trey will join the tour starting February 20th at the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL and will perform all 23 dates thereafter ending March 27th at the Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas. This is definitely a good look and huge exposure for Trey. As we all know, Jay-Z is one of the biggest artist of all times and I’m sure every arena will have close to capacity attendance if not sold out! Maybe it will help him push more albums as well.
Now on to the BAD news. It’s not bad news to us per say but maybe to some of the ladies. Another major blog has supposedly dished the T on Trey’s sexuality reporting that the R&B singer is bisexual and they have “proof”. You may have recalled back in November when the infamous blogger SandraRose reported Trey Songz as being gay and having a lover. Now Bossip reports that Trey use to date an underground R&B singer by the name of Brandon Hines. The subject of the article read “Bossip Exclusive:Trey Songz Reinvents Sex with More Than the Ladies” and gave information from a “reliable” source with a timeline of the couples relationship back in ’04-’05.
NOW, while my motto is “who the fuck cares”… We all know that music industry, doesn’t take well to gay or bisexual rumors (at least for BLACK R&B singers). I just pray whatever the case, somebody (Ne-Yo, Trey, Usher, Omarion…SOMEBODY) will just be who they are, make good music for all, and kill the sterotyping. It’s really TIRED. It’s really sad to think that we could go a possible 30 more years in a Luther Vandross “Dont Ask, Dont Tell” state of mind with our black artist if you know what I mean.

For all intents and purposes, I don’t see what the hell was suppose to be going on in this video. I mean it’s cute and all but where is the direction, the storyline, the grit, the party? This song makes you want to move and the video is just a bunch of people standing in a nice lounge or house gathering, drinking, and chilling. Where they do that at, especially for a club song?
