Last night, the poptress, Rihanna, was special guest on Saturday Night Live. For her first set, Riri performed a medly of her radio hit “Cake” and “Talk That Talk”. Between the reverb effects the sound men were giving and Rihanna vocals, my ears didn’t HAVE A CHANCE! BUT, Rihanna did redeem herself second go round when she performed her newest single “Where Have You Been”.

Last night, red headed Pop Star Rihanna was special guest on American Idol performing “California King Bed” which is the next single from her fifth studio album, “LOUD”.

While we know she’s not known for strong vocal skills, for a live performance and no lip syncing, Rihanna get’s an A for effort!

After her performance, she revealed some “top secret” details about her upcoming tour this summer stating that fans will actually get to be a part of the show by being on a custom built stage made for V.I.P. fans. We’re sure thats going to be much more money than regular seats but certainly something that her #RihannaNavy fans will love.

Earlier this week, two of he biggest Pop divas, Rihanna and Britney Spears, had twitter in a ruckus announcing that Rihanna’s “S&M” remix would feature non other than Britney Spears.

While the tweets looked promising on twitter and the star power of the two definitely seemed like the right match, when the song finally came out the next day, the vocals had me looking outside my window to see if there were two cats outside my crib that may have been hungry.

Last night, Rihanna was the special guest on Saturday Night Live and if the purpose of having her on the show was to celebrate Halloween, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Dressed with her Ronald McDonald dress and matching hairstyle, Riri performed “Only Girl in the World” and “Whats My Name”. While “Whats My Name” was an ok performance vocally, “Only Girl in the World” was an absolute disaster from your local neighbor’s band practice in the garage.

“Only Girl in The World” – Rihanna dropped the song down a key and the sound team decided to go overboard with the reverb on the mic. I honestly would have been fine with a Britney Spears lip sync performance from RiRi.

A new Rihanna track has leaked featuring the mega Canadian rap star Drake. “Whats My Name” is the second single from Rihanna’s forthcoming fifth studio album “Loud” which will be in stores November 16th. The Reggae/Island inspired track fits Miss Riri just fine and the addition of Drake to the record solidifies the track as a single that will definitely move up the charts fast!

This week must be the week of leaked videos. First Ciara “Gimme Dat” leaks and now we have Rihanna’s video for her lead single “Only Girl in the World”.

The previously leaked song, “Who’s That Chick”by Rihanna has what sounds like an alternate version and/or mastered version that just leaked.  The David Guetta produced track is from her fifth studio album “Loud”, that’s set to hit stores November 16th. This very catchy, fun, dance track is filled with streams of synthesizers and hard hitting basslines! As soon as you hear the song it commands you to move, dance, tap, sing, nod, or whatever you do, just GET INTO IT!

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! And just like her red hair, this album art is STRAIGHT FIRE! She’s giving you dramatics and loudness all at once! Her marketing team sure does know how to turn a gimmick into a CASH COW!!!! Not saying Rihanna is the gimmick but one must admit she knows how to turn something simple and make it HOT! I mean look at her career, it’s one gimmick after another and she is SOOOOOO great at it and making it her own that you cannot help but be in awe of this woman! Look for the release of her album “Loud” due in stores Nov. 16, 2010! Let’s hope she brings the LOUDNESS on every track! Thoughts?
