ONE LOVE, ONE HEART is a charitable organization whose mission is to help bridge the gap between all orientations and ethnicities while working selflessly and without prejudice to assist the under served. We believe that by helping others during a crisis or in a time of need, we will teach one another about acceptance and universal love. We have tasked ourselves with the responsibility of organizing charitable events throughout the year that unite us all for a good cause. Our goal is to take the focus off what makes us different and put the focus on what makes us the same.
Ø ONE LOVE, ONE HEART – A Haiti Relief Benefit Music Showcase & Party
Ø Our inaugural event will help raise money for the relief effort for the children and families affected by the earthquakes in Haiti. Donations collected will go to improve the quality of life for the Haitian people, particularly children, through nutrition and vital supplies.
Ø Through your generous donations and the helping hands of our family of volunteers and dedicated staff, we hope to help improve the quality of life of hundreds of Haitian children and their families. We are working directly with “The American Red Cross” (who are successfully administering aide to the poor and who will be there for the long term) to ensure that the donations we raise reach the people who need it most. We hope that with your help, we can help to create a better future for the children of Haiti. ONE LOVE, ONE HEART!
Confirmed artist scheduled to perform include The Dream Recording Artist Tayma Loren, Young Joc’s Recording Artist JC, and Singer Songwriter Graham Knoxx. Atlanta’s own DJ Small Wonder will be spinning. More announcements on celebrity host and guests will be announced soon!
Our mission is to present an environment where fun and facts collide. With the shared support of sponsors such as Dangerously Beautiful, Diva Hair, Tangles Salon & Beauty bar, Sooak Photography, as well as many other potential sponsors, “ONE LOVE, ONE HEART ” expects to amass close to $50,000, in which a portion of the proceeds will go to the hundreds of Haitian children and their families.
The “ONE LOVE, ONE HEART” event is Wednesday March 3, 2010 at The Loft (located at the CW Midtown Music Complex aka Center Stage).
