The past T.V. performances from Nicki Minaj we’ve been very disappointed in, but last night Nicki decided to step away from her lip syncing routines and gave us an A+ show with Will I. AM as they performed “Check It Out” on David Letterman.

The biggest and crunkest party of the weekend during Atlanta Balck Gay Pride was in Decatur, GA off Colombia Drive where Traxx Atlanta Nightclub played host to just over 8000 in attendance who came to party and see the one and only Nicki Minaj. Nicki had three bookings in Atlanta, GA and started her night at the Freight Depot where she performed for Traxx Girls, then she traveled to Primetime II where she performed for the straights, and lastly the buck stopped at Traxx Atlanta where she was greeted with the biggest cheer she had ever received coming on stage from a group of people.

Nicki shouted to the crowd after performing “Bottoms Up”, “I’ve never had this much fun performing that song in my fucking life!”

Nicki performed nearly every song she had been featured on and each time she went from one track to another track the crowd would get crunker and crunker. And when it came time for “boob signing” time, there was no expceptions for the boys. Nicki signed chest, fitted caps, cell phones, and more. At one point a mini riot broke out and even someone fainted apparently over excited about being so close to Nicki.

Gucci Mane’s third studio album “The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted” is slated to be released next Tuesday, September 28th and one of the most anticipated track from the album is the Neptune’s produced  “Haterade” which features Pharrell and Nicki Minaj.

From the producers roster for Gucci Mane new album, this should be Gucci’s most successful commercial album to date; however, the piss poor marketing could hinder that from happening!

As many of you know, Atlanta Black Pride 2010 was INSANE with hot boys, celebrities galore, and some of the best partys ever in the history of pride. Our good friend YoBoiNewNue was in town all the way from Dallas along with the hilarious AfricanoBoi. The two ran through the city of Atlanta (in a good way) club hopping and capturing some of the most festive events of the weekend.

Our twitpic of the day comes from the Young Money rapper Tyga. Last weekend in L.A. was a big awards weekend with the BMI Awards as well as VMA Awards going on and apparently Tyga’s stylist misread the invite and thought they were dressing him for the annual Latex Ball in NYC….

Laced in her Roman pink dress, Nicki Minaj debuted her brand new website, www.mypinkfriday.com, today via twitter.

Nicki’s first solo album “Pink Friday” will drop Tuesday, November 23rd and her promotion warfare has been HEAVY. With her recent performances at Atlanta Black Gay Pride for the mega promotions group Traxx Atlanta, a MTV VMA Pre-Award show performance, landing the cover of OUT Magazine, and her most recent cameo in NYC joining Jay-Z & Kanye West on stage to perform the collaborated rap track “Monster”, Nicki has the promotions game on LOCK!

Nicki Minaj Chats It Ups With “OUT” Magazine

While Keyshia Cole was tweeting from home and upset over MTV not inviting her to the MTV VMA’s this year, the sexy Teairra Mari received her invite and worked the White Carpet quite well in her Amica Style dress and Diego Dolcini shoes.

In a mini interview on the White Carpet, RapUp.com talked to Teairra about this Fall/Winter music release dates from some heavy hitter and asked her who was she looking forward to as far as a new album. Teairra responded with Beyonce which is her favorite artist. Is Beyonce coming out with an album the end of the year? Did we miss some T Teairra?

In the same interview, when asked about Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday” and her anticipation on that, Teairra was a bit clueless that Nicki had an album coming out in November and had no idea what a “Pink Friday” was… While I’m not sure how Teairra has no idea when Nicki’s album comes out, take the interview for what it was, a keke! Her facial expressions and tone was the ultimate #shade…..

icki Minaj kicked off the MTV VMA Pre-Awards show performing her hit single “Your Love” and new track “Check It Out” featuring Will.I.Am. It was a good look for her publicity wise but nothing really special about the performance.

The female rap star Nicki Minaj took over Traxx Atlanta on Saturday, September 4th during Atlanta Black Gay Pride to perform in front of over 5000 Pride attendees.

As promised, Kanye West released another new song yesterday via twitter. Kanye announced that he would be releasing a new song every Friday until Christmas labeling Fridays as ‘G.O.O.D. Friday’.  The new track “Monster” features Jay-Z, Rick Ross, & Nicki Minaj. Two Words…NICKI SLAYS! In the verse Nicki mocks a very familiar female Rapper voice…

“Let me get this straight,  WAIT, I’m the rookie? But my features and my shows 10xs your pay. 50k for a verse, no album out. Yeah my money so tall, that my barbie got to climb it, hotter than a Middle Eastern climate.”
