Video Premiere | Monica “Love All Over Me”

Monica

Today, Monica premiered her latest single “Love All Over Me” from her latest LP STILL STANDING on BET’s 106 N Park.  Looking amazing and glammed up to the Gods, Monica goes through at least 5 stunning wardrobe changes. The video commences with Monica saying farewell to her boyfriend (Maino) as he goes to jail for what must be a long sentence. Before exiting the car, his last word’s are “Don’t wait for me…” referencing her moving on with her career and love life.

Throughout the video she reminisce over her boyfriend but decides to follow his advice and she eventually finds another man (Shannon Brown). When it comes to the day of their wedding, Monica has flashbacks and leaves the Groom (and us) with a cliff-hanger. Very much so a Soap Opera love story!

As part of the story plot, Monica and her team have turned the video ending into a “You Chose What Monica Should Do” voting decision on her site.

Old Love vs. New Love – Vote Now!

As you all see in the video, Monica is forced to choose between 2 lovers, her old love Maino or her new love Shannon Brown and she needs your help! After watching the video cast your vote at the online poll below or by texting:

NEWLOVE to 66937 for her new love or
OLDLOVE to 66937 for her old love

T Pod | Monica “Everything To Me” (Final Version)

Monica_Everything-to-Me

Monica’s new single, “Everything to Me” (the final version that is), has arrived. The track was produced by the incomparable Missy Elliott. A few weeks ago, the shorter version of “Everything” was released but after complaints that the song was too short, the song was extended by adding a bridge.

Monica performed a snippet of the song during MLK weekend in Atlanta at Traxx. I personally LOVE the song. In a world where ballads are damn near obsolete from radio rotations, I hope the single does well! Ballads are what made Monica! Make sure you call your local radio station and demand Monica’s “Everything to Me”. Her new album “Still Standing” will be in stores in March.

So we told yall earlier, Monica rocked out Traxx this past saturday for their MLK weekend celebration and during her performance Monica’s one “ghetto eye” identified an altercation between two of the kidz in the audience.

Monica told the kids:

“Hold up for a second. Hold up for a second. Hold on. Yall good right there? Yall alright? Now yall know where I’m from so I know a problem when I see one! What’s the problem? I’m the resolution tonight! You okay? Ok, do I need to split yall up?  Jonte (her security), come here. See they cant stop the party, the girls be getting into it. We gotta break up the altercation. Where the problem at? So this how we gonna do this. Ima do yall like I do with with my boys in the house because I know brothers still love each other but right now yall gotta separate till this show is over. You ok? Ok, you come closer to the front so we can enjoy the show because we Drama Free in this Bit&*! Ok, now you stay right and you have fun and Ima run this one back for you…ok? Alright, one more time Black (DJ) we got it!”

After things settled up, Monica explained she still had that one ghetto eye. She cleaned it up and she’s classy now but that one ghetto eye was showing her the altercation in the building so she wanted make sure it was settled the right way! This is why we love Monica!!!! lol

Check out this video of Monica performing “Before You Walk Out of My Life” and getting the girls right together!
