“Regret (Remix)” LeToya Luckett feat. Missy Elliott

LeToya Luckett enlists Missy Elliott for the remix of her smash hit “Regret” (one of my favorite anthem songs). The song has a different feel, more club friendly, new lyrics, and new vocal arrangements! Missy’s part is her typical “I got a man I got a man, I got a man!” thing she usually does, almost as if she’s trying to convince us she is INDEED straight and not gay/bi (now that’s QUESTIONABLE! LOL)!

The remix is hot though! I like the beginning verse by LeToya. One of the parts that stuck out to me was, “Now that you’re fired, dont try, just to retire, you won’t get no higher than you were when you were here now don’t you see?!” Well if that’s not a “BANG up in ya face” moment, I don’t know what is! Take a listen and tell me how you feel about it!
