R&B diva Keri Hilson’s video for “Pretty Girl Rock” has just premiered from her second album, ‘No Boys Allowed’ due in stores Dec. 21. I must say Keri Hilson looks STUNNING! In the Joeseph Kahn directed video, Keri pays homage to the great singers/performers before her; Janet, TLC, Diana Ross, Donna Summer are just some of whom she pays homage. I love how Keri is trying different things. It took me a minute to get into the song “Pretty Girl Rock”, but this video and her beauty, inside and out, has won me over. Last month, Keri Hilson revealed a new look, the name of her forthcoming sophmore album – No Boys, and her new single “Breaking Point” and now we have the video to go with the song.

Great video but we’re sticking to our guns on this one. This song would have been a smash hit with someone like Fantasia or Mary J Blige singing it. Just our thought! Yours?

Keri Hilson is readying her second studio album, No Boys, for a 2010/11 release and has just leaked the first single, “Breaking Point”,  from the forthcoming album. With productions by her long time collaborate, Timbaland, the new song gives us an old school vibe with Keri on the track singing about a woman and when she’s at her limit dealing with a man.

While I like the lyrics and groove to the song, it’s hard to be convinced by Keri’s vocals to feel any type of personal testimony from the song. Granted I don’t know Keri’s relationship past, public wise, it’s been a clear single life for Miss Keri. That takes away from the song! Had the track been given to another artist like Mary or Fantasia who have both had their personal trials with a man, the song would be an instant hit. I wouldn’t doubt that while this has been slated as Keri’s first single, it will definitely be more of a buzz single and we will be hearing more from Keri in the future about an “Official” single.

From the name of the album itself, it’s pretty clear Keri’s album is going to be a ladies anthem record. I can respect the fact that Keri has decided to  release the name her album and give her fans a clear direction of what way her album will go unlike the confused Kelly Rowland.

From T.I.’s seventh studio album KING UNCAGED here is the brand new video for his crossover single “Got Your Back” featuring Keri Hilson.

The video plays very much in the role of what T.I. has been through the past year with an actor playing an imprisoned man sustained by the love of his lady back at home. At the end of the video you see T.I.’s love Tiny make a cameo which brings us to our next subject!

YBF has confirmed that the two lovebirds, T.I. and Tiny are finally getting married in Miami next weekend! What a perfect time for the video and the two! Congrats!
