Willow Smith, the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, has been the buzz all this week with her new single “Whip My Hair” that hit the internet waves earlier this week. A day after the song leaked, Jay-Z revealed on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show that in fact he had signed Willow Smith to the Roc Nation label stating, “I believe in big records and superstars, and I think she has both”.
Many are comparing the new song to something that Rihanna would do who was also discovered by Jay-Z at the age of 16. Check out “Whip My Hair” and tell us what you think.

As promised, Kanye West released another new song yesterday via twitter. Kanye announced that he would be releasing a new song every Friday until Christmas labeling Fridays as ‘G.O.O.D. Friday’. The new track “Monster” features Jay-Z, Rick Ross, & Nicki Minaj. Two Words…NICKI SLAYS! In the verse Nicki mocks a very familiar female Rapper voice…
“Let me get this straight, WAIT, I’m the rookie? But my features and my shows 10xs your pay. 50k for a verse, no album out. Yeah my money so tall, that my barbie got to climb it, hotter than a Middle Eastern climate.”
Let the battle begin….

Alicia Keys opened her “Elements of Freedom” tour up yesterday in New York City at Madison Square Garden and like most concerts that hit NYC, some surprise guests accommodated her, including her boo Swizz Beats, Beyonce, and Jay-Z.
While Alicia was performing “Put it in a Love Song” which features the Mega diva Beyonce, Beyonce showed up and showed out. It looked a bit strange with Alicia on stage with just 3 dancers alone but Bey added the spice to the performance. Check it out.
Alicia’s boo, Swizz Beatz, was also in the building and made a guest cameo in-between Alicia’s set of “Empire State of Mind” and then introduced the Mayor of Hip Hop himself, Jay-Z. The concert looked really exciting for the fans.
Alicia ontinues on her near 3 month tour up until May 7th, ending it in Berlin Germany. For the full list of concert dates check out AliciaKeys.com.

Jay-Z just premiered his video for his song, “On To The Next One”, featuring Swizz Beatz. The video gives abstract art meets hip hop music video. Its on the verge of what some may call creepy, however I love the video and it kind of made me like this song. Take a look below and give your thoughts.
