I’ve said this before in a previous article but I’ll say it again. Jamie Foxx is one of a very few artist that can release an album in December with less than 2 weeks of promotions and kill the Billboards. R&B Singer Jamie Foxx is getting ready to release his 4th studio album BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE on December 17th. December seems to be Foxx’s lucky month for album sales. His 2nd studio album UNPREDICTABLE was released on December 27th, 2005 and moved 597,000 units it’s first week and later became certified double platinum, then his follow-up album “Intuition” was released December of 2006 and moved  265,000 units the first week and was later certified platinum.

If you’re like me(Valentineless)… Here is something that’s going to make you even more pissed off!…A Date Movie!!! *screams with joy*

No but really, Garry Marshall, the director of “Pretty Woman,” has brought together some of Hollywood’s most talented actors and actresses to deliver what he describes as a day in the life of love. 

Opening this Friday (2/12/10), Valentine’s Day follows the intertwining storylines of a group of Los Angelinos as they find their way through romance over the course of one Valentine’s Day. The film stars Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba, Patrick Dempsey, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx and a slew of other talented actors. 

For the simple fact that you rarely get to see such an eclectic ensemble cast on screen, I’d recommend taking this movie in at some point this weekend. If you see it on Friday or Saturday it may be less painful than seeing it on Sunday. So who’s coming with me on Saturday???
