In light of recent events with the STUPIDITY OF “AMERICA” VOTING OFF Brandy from DWTS, I decided to post a semi new song of hers that many of you may not have heard. It’s called “I Can’t Wait” also known as “This Song”. At any rate, I love it, I hope it’s apart of her new album. I felt the need to post something positive about Brandy as I know how much that DWTS contest meant to her and her fans (me included). But the most tragic thing about it all is that Brandy was one of the HIGHEST SCORING contestants on there, so “America” really doesn’t want to see her win? Or was that a judgement call from the producers and judges themselves? I can’t believe she wouldn’t even make the finals. That don’t sound right! Oh shoot this post was suppose to be about the song.

Back to the song, “I Can’t Wait” goes innnnn with hard hitting hand claps, bass, electronic piano and guitar, and light synthesizers. It’s a mid-tempo song that expresses Brandy’s dying efforts to sing her man a song of her love for him. “I Can’t Wait” is one of those  feel good type of love songs. Its a nice change to hear a song about the joys of love and less the troubles we often find in current songs.

R&B diva Keri Hilson’s video for “Pretty Girl Rock” has just premiered from her second album, ‘No Boys Allowed’ due in stores Dec. 21. I must say Keri Hilson looks STUNNING! In the Joeseph Kahn directed video, Keri pays homage to the great singers/performers before her; Janet, TLC, Diana Ross, Donna Summer are just some of whom she pays homage. I love how Keri is trying different things. It took me a minute to get into the song “Pretty Girl Rock”, but this video and her beauty, inside and out, has won me over. It is with great pleasure to post, announce, view, speak on, etc. the release of the long awaited video for Freemasons feat. Wynter Gordon’s “Believer” video off their EP titled ‘The First Dance’! R&B crooner El DeBarge and Hip Hop’s first lady Faith Evans, team up for this wonderfully done duet called “Lay With You”, said to be the off El DeBarge’s album ‘Second Chance’. No word if this is the first single or even a single at all. But if you ask me, I think it should be and would do great for him to break back out on the scene with this. Faith just released her latest LP and El could piggy back off her success and vise versa by targeting some of her market(s) as well! The song is fun and flirty; reminds me of the ‘honeymoon’ stage of dating someone, where you don’t want to let them go anywhere, you always want them around, you always want to talk to them, and enjoy them all day everyday, LOVE! El delivers his signature vocals while going into his higher range; he sounds just like he did back in the day!  Faith is not one to disappoint either as she is holding her own and she, too, delivers her signature vocals! It’s crazy how these two have been able to keep their vocals intact for years while so many have taken their gifts for granted i.e. Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey (on certain days LOL), etc. Take a listen and go off!!!!!!!

I CANNOT get enough of this girl! Maybe because she is the spawn of two of my idols, Will and Jada Smith, and thus fuels my crazy notion that two GREAT people coming together can and WILL make GREAT, GREATNESS!!! And not to mention that she is on her hussle at 9 DAMN YEARS OLD!!!! I love it. Ciara can’t even get her label to set a date for her album and here is Willow getting remixs to the ONE SONG she has out, a video release date, and pretty soon I bet she’ll be releasing a statement as to when her album will drop! How you like that?! Willow’s video for “Whip My Hair” will premiere next week via BET’s, 106 & Park, and y’all better hold down your lacefronts, wigs, and removable track pieces worldwide, ’cause she is SNATCHING AND WHIPPING THEM OFF!!!!! I, for one, will be tuning in! Will you?

Ok forgive me if I do not jump for joy and relief that R&B singer, Ciara, is finally getting it together but damn! GIRL! Get your management TOGETHER! #TakeNotesFromRihanna… With that said, Ciara annoucned on her Ustream last night that she is, in fact, releasing her SERIAL delayed album ‘Basic Instinct’ on December 14th! We can all say ‘Yaaaay’, right? Well here’s hoping that the “Queen of Dance”, as her fans now call her, can pull it together and dance sing her way back onto the charts and into the hearts of her fans worldwide. She’s still cute though. Get into that pose! Chuckles…

Where to begin? Okay, well, apparently R&B singer Lloyd, decided to show off his vocal chops in this song, “Lay It Down” and whislt he failed. I’m sorry. The song was produced by none other than Polow Da Don. The track comes from his fourth studio album, ‘King of Hearts’ and has the makings off a great song, IN THE BEGINNING! But as the instrumentals continue and Lloyd starts singing, one can only have a “WTF” moment as Lloyd gets louder and LOUDER, almost to the point where you HAVE TO TURN IT OFF! Now, I know this sounds like I’m hating, which I am, but not on Lloyd, just his voice on this TRACK! I love Lloyd’s old material, “Get It Shawty” and “Southside” but with time I know one must adapt and try new things but some things are better left to those that can TRULY adapt. At any rate, the video was nice….? And he is coming into his new look rather well! Kudos for that! The club-like setting video was shot by Mikey Finnigan. Take a look below!

What I thought was a regular, yet beautiful, sunny Sunday turned out to be even more fantastic than I thought as I came across the full version of “Google Me” by none other than Kim Zolciak! LOL I couldn’t even say that with a straight face! But seriously, Kim Zolciak is said to be in the studio with pretty well known producers gearing up for the release of her debut album. I didn’t know she was really gun hoe on trying to put an album out with her inability to sing well. As we all know, stranger things have happened to stranger folks. With that said, here is the full version of her song “Google Me”, and I am sure you all will get a good keke and woooo haaaa out of it.

The previously leaked song, “Who’s That Chick”by Rihanna has what sounds like an alternate version and/or mastered version that just leaked.  The David Guetta produced track is from her fifth studio album “Loud”, that’s set to hit stores November 16th. This very catchy, fun, dance track is filled with streams of synthesizers and hard hitting basslines! As soon as you hear the song it commands you to move, dance, tap, sing, nod, or whatever you do, just GET INTO IT!
