First Lady of Hip Hop Faith Evans is back with a brand new album “Something About Faith“, set to drop on October 5th! With a little piece of heaven in the form of a song, we are blessed with this new single titled ‘Gone Already’ and it’s straight FIRE! Carvin Haggins and Ivan Barias produced the track and Corey “Latif” Williams co-wrote the track. If you aren’t familiar with who they are, they are responsible for producing on every Musiq Soulchild album, Raheem DeVaughn’s “Customer” and a host of Jill Scott songs. Take a listen!

Kid Cudi’s new video for his song “Soundtrack 2 My Life” just premiered. Until now, I haven’t payed much attention to Kid Cudi or his music but I am becoming a FAN! This video was directed by Jason Goldwatch. The song comes from his debut album ‘Man on the Moon: The End of Day’. Its not a high budget music video but it gives a look into Kid Cudi’s life on and off the stage. Take a look at the video below.
I don’t mean to be rude BUT I don’t get the song or video concept for “Acapella”. I know, I know, she is Kelis, she gives us dramatics and thought provoking songs and videos, but WTF?! Carmit Bachar | “Cream”
Following her split from the Pussycat Dolls, Carmit Bachar has been in the studio recording music for her solo album due out sometime this year. The first single is called “Cream”, which sounds like a Pussycat Dolls infused track mixed with some bubble gum pop old Britney Spears song. It’s not a bad track at all but is it first single material? My answer is no. It’s catchy but typical. Let’s hope she comes harder than this. Take a listen and give your thoughts!

OMG OMG OMG! R&B’s greatest creation known as Brandy Norwood has leaked some material, old or new, that is BEYOND great! The song is called “Who’s The Loser Now?”. I have been thirsty for some new Brandy material and she gave me EVERYTHING I needed with this one! I can’t speak for everyone here at WhatsTheT.com but I, Jake Jacobs VI, am LOVING this track! I can stop listening to it!
Brandy is giving so much attitude and anger with this song; my favorite line is, “Who’s the loser now? You look stupid now… In the lost and found, who got you now!!???” I can’t with her right now! She just may have ended my life tonight and then brought me back to life! Seriously PLEASE GET INNNNN on this one!
