R&B crooner El DeBarge and Hip Hop’s first lady Faith Evans, team up for this wonderfully done duet called “Lay With You”, said to be the off El DeBarge’s album ‘Second Chance’. No word if this is the first single or even a single at all. But if you ask me, I think it should be and would do great for him to break back out on the scene with this.Faith just released her latest LP and Elcould piggy back off her success and vise versa by targeting some of her market(s) as well! The song is fun and flirty; reminds me of the ‘honeymoon’ stage of dating someone, where you don’t want to let them go anywhere, you always want them around, you always want to talk to them, and enjoy them all day everyday, LOVE! El delivers his signature vocals while going into his higher range; he sounds just like he did back in the day! Faith is not one to disappoint either as she is holding her own and she, too, delivers her signature vocals! It’s crazy how these two have been able to keep their vocals intact for years while so many have taken their gifts for granted i.e. Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey (on certain days LOL), etc. Take a listen and go off!!!!!!!

Faith Evans was special guest on the Wendy Williams show today. She performed her single “Gone Already” and sounded amazing as usual. I love this song! Her sixth studio album “Something About Faith” is in stores now!
Fresh off the release of her latest album “Somthing About Faith”, R&B and Hip Hop’s First Lady Faith Evans, proves she is no lip singer. She performs some of her classic hits such as: “Soon As I Get Home”, “Never Gonna Let You Go”,“I Love You”, “You Used To Love Me”,and “Love Like This” Tuesday night at BB Kings. She is one artist who has always delievered great vocals live time and time again. Faith gave her all and everything on stage with some much needed swagger as well! R&B Diva Faith Evans‘ song “Can’t Stay Away” feat. Keyshia Cole surfaced today. Sadly, the buzz around this song is so flat and dry that it makes us fear for what her album sales will do. Her album “Something About Faith” is set to be released next Tuesday. In spite of all that, we believe this is not the mastered version of the song as Keyshia sounds so muted, off key, and just not right on this track that we CANNOT take this serious! Take a listen. Thoughts?

First Lady of Hip Hop Faith Evans is back with a brand new album “Something About Faith“, set to drop on October 5th! With a little piece of heaven in the form of a song, we are blessed with this new single titled ‘Gone Already’ and it’s straight FIRE! Carvin Haggins and Ivan Barias produced the track and Corey “Latif” Williams co-wrote the track. If you aren’t familiar with who they are, they are responsible for producing on every Musiq Soulchild album, Raheem DeVaughn’s “Customer” and a host of Jill Scott songs. Take a listen!
It was just over a month ago we asked you guys Could Faith Evans Make a Comeback and told you that a new single was on the way. Well here it is. Check out the new single from Faith titled “The Way You Move” featuring Snoop Dogg. It’s so refreshing to see Faith is coming back to the music scene and her voice is still as smoothing and pleasurable as it was 5 years ago.

We always find ourselves in conversations with friends and twiggas about artists that we miss and how we wish they would return. How about Faith Evans? Faith’s last studio album “The First Lady” was in 2005 and was a solid album. As a matter of fact, Faith has never had a “bad” album in my opinion.
A few days ago, Diddy tweeted “The First Lady of Hip-Hop is back” with a link to a track that Faith is on. It’s a track with her nephew rapping to Lil Wayne’s/Llloyd’s “Bedrock” and apparently Faith decided to do some “vocals” for the track referencing her comeback. We’re going to give Faith the benefit of the doubt on this one and say she was just playing around on this track (vocally & hopefully) and she has a more serious comeback track coming soon.
