About a month ago, I had the privilege of being a part of the guest audience for The Monique Show to see the incomparable Erykah Badu. Last night the show aired on BET.

Unlike most guest that come on The Monique Show, Erykah had the entire show to herself and was able to sit down with Monique and talk one on one and go in depth about everything from her recent controversy of the Window Seat video where she appeared completely naked, the education of Groupthink, her matriarch family, her kids, music career, and more.

This was, in my opinion, Monique’s best show and guest since the show has been on. I myself learned so much in the hour long show! Check out the full interview and her performance below!
