Last night was the semifinals to BET’s Sunday’s Best and as we predicted our two finalist are Leandria Johnson and Elder Goldwire McClendon. The two most anointed singers out of the show’s talent. While Leandria struggled the first half of the show, she made up for it in the second half singing “I Love the Lord”. Check out the anointed performance below. You could literally feel the anointing come through the TV last night!

And then there was Elder Goldwire. Never a bad performance, Elder performed “Oh Happy Day” and as usual he nailed it! Next weekend is the finals, make sure you all tune into BET at 8pm. Viewers will be able to call/text their “Sunday’s Best”. It’s going to be a good a show!

Here’s a little lot of Sunday inspiration. Last night on BET, I finally got a chance to see Season 3 of BET’s Sunday’s Best. The talent on the show was great but there was a 79 y/o man from Philadelphia, PA by the name of Elder Goldwire McClendon that set the building on fire. While many television talent shows are based on a variety of thing like vocals, stage presence, audience popularity, and other things, Sunday’s Best is a show well the annointing wins. Elder Goldwire McClendon brought the annointing and just made me forget about any of the other great talent that was on the show. I had to go online to find this video just to see it again!
