“End of Times”
“X-FACTOR” (LAURYN HILL)

Jennifer Lopez was on double duty last night on American Idol as judge and performer. She performed for the very first time her new single “Goin’ In” featuring Flo-Rida. JLo has so much stamina when it come to performing and dancing. The song itself has a very catchy dance beat which is getting a little redundant in my opinion but it’s not a bad song.
Check out the new single. Is JLo dual work duty doing her music career any justice? Read the full story
I’m sure many of you remember a couple of years a go when the viral YouTube video of a young black male going ballistically crunk in a Ciara t-shirt to “Who You Finna Try” hit the internet.
Browsing YouTube yesterday, I found out that the young man actually has taken his crunkatisical talents and is makng a music career out of it and its pretty damn crunk. Check out this video of the YouTube King of Crunnk called “Crunk Aint Dead” featuring SkitSarena. Read the full story
If you have been waisting your time watching any other singing competition on TV, NOW is the time to STOP! Last night on American Idol, it was a COMPLETE KNOCK OUT & DRAG OUT with the 4 Idol competitors Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet, Jessica Sanchez, and Hollie Cavanagh.
First of all let me say, this season of American Idol has by far been the best season for a top 4 competition in a very long time. Minus Hollie, the three competitors Phillip, Josh, and Jessica are absolutely MIND BLOWING!
It was a two hour show and for the first hour of the show, the theme was songs from a Californian artist, then a duet, and then the last hour the theme was a song that the Idol contestant wish they could have written. I’m only posting the last half of the show because that’s where the competition got REALLY HEATED and made me an American Idol stan!
Check out the performances and my thoughts after the jump.
Fresh from the popular VEVO artist video network, Mary J Blige has released her new video to her current single “Why” featuring Rick Ross. The video is a pretty basic R&B video and Mary is looking AMAZING as usual from head to toe.
Mary and her team is strategically planning her return to the forefront after their Burger King chicken snack PR nightmare. One thing that separates a Pro from a Rookie is the sustainability and we all know Mary hasn’t been in the game for 10 years just for the HELL OF IT!
From her latest album “MY LIFE II” here’s a sneak peek of Mary’s latest single “Why” featuring the BOSS, Rick Ross. This is definitely one of Mary’s radio friendly tracks and the Urban stations should EAT IT UP!
As many of you all know, radical girl group The Yes Ma’ams will be hosting our 7 year Anniversary this Saturday at Sunrise Bistro (3395 Buford Hwy, Atlanta, GA). Over the weekend, the 138th annual Kentucky Derby took place in Louisville, KY. The Queen of Hip-Hop & R&B Mary J Blige took to the stage to sing the National Anthem to a record breaking 165,000 Derby attendees. Back in March, Blige performed the anthem at the NBA All-Star game and was criticized harshly by blogs and music critics for what some considered a very pitchy performance but this time around, Mary J Blige totally slaaaaayed (in a good way) the anthem!!!
The women with their over-the-top Derby hats and men all screamed and cheered at Mary J Blige’s rendition. Check out the performance after the jump. Read the full story
