And The Read Of The Year Goes To: Sen Hendon on Civil Unions

Ilinois State Sen. Rickey Hendon, who represents Chicago’s West Side, slams the hypocrisy of “adulterers, womanizers” and “brothas on the down low” who opposed SB1716, the civil unions bill that passed Wednesday. “We know what you do at night! You know too.”

Seeing there were only two “brothas” who voted against the bill, who was he talking about?

Hendon is the same Democratic state senator who, in the closing days before the November 2 election, received a standing ovation after he described ultra-conservative and anti-gay Republican gubernatorial candidate Sen. Bill Brady as “idiotic, racist, sexist and homophobic.” “If you think gay and lesbian people need to be locked up and shot in the head,” Hendon told churchgoers at the rally for Gov. Pat Quinn. “Vote for Bill Brady!”

What Would You Do? A Gay Son Confesses

ABC News show PRIMETIME | WHAT WOULD YOU DO is about setting up everyday scenarios and then capturing people’s reactions. Whether they’re compelled to act or mind their own business, John Quiñones reports on their split-second and often surprising decision-making process.

In this scenario it takes a young man confessing to his father that he is gay and the fathers not so pleasant reaction. Keep in mind they are in a public place, a cafe, and the conversation ofcourse is loud. After all, how else would you hear them to get all up in their business.

Check out the peoples reaction to this situation. Keep in mind the son and father are really actors but I must agree they both do a good damn job at pulling us in.

GLEE: Baby It’s Cold Outside

Glee Previews one of the most iconic songs in American History. Baby its cold outside was featured in the 1949 motion picture, NEPTUNE’S DAUGHTER and was performed by Ricardo Montalban and Esther Williams and the other rendition by Red Skelton and Betty Garrett. The performances earned an Academy Award. Other greats to sing the song were Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Jordan was recorded on April 28 and released by Decca Records as catalog number 24644. It first reached the Billboard magazine Best Seller chart on June 17, 1949 and lasted seven weeks on the chart, peaking at number 17
Now its 2010 and the two great musical talents via GLEE to be added to the songs rotation is Chris Colfer and Darren Criss. I swear I never thought I would love a musical show as much as I loved the Dream Girls, but honey, GLEE has stolen my musical heart. Enjoy!

ATL Black Pride 2010 Flashback Videos | Nicki Minaj Turns Out @TraxxAtlanta (2 Videos)

The biggest and crunkest party of the weekend during Atlanta Balck Gay Pride was in Decatur, GA off Colombia Drive where Traxx Atlanta Nightclub played host to just over 8000 in attendance who came to party and see the one and only Nicki Minaj. Nicki had three bookings in Atlanta, GA and started her night at the Freight Depot where she performed for Traxx Girls, then she traveled to Primetime II where she performed for the straights, and lastly the buck stopped at Traxx Atlanta where she was greeted with the biggest cheer she had ever received coming on stage from a group of people.

Nicki shouted to the crowd after performing “Bottoms Up”, “I’ve never had this much fun performing that song in my fucking life!”

Nicki performed nearly every song she had been featured on and each time she went from one track to another track the crowd would get crunker and crunker. And when it came time for “boob signing” time, there was no expceptions for the boys. Nicki signed chest, fitted caps, cell phones, and more. At one point a mini riot broke out and even someone fainted apparently over excited about being so close to Nicki.

The night was a big ass Crunk Fest and one people wont forget! Enjoy out our video footage of the crunkness and video courtesy of Traxx Atlanta.
