Remember when rap bitches were rapping! Waiting in line at McDonalds this morning EVE ft. Gwen Stefani “Blow Your Mind” came on the radio and I thought to myself, this was that ISH (I mean it really still could go hard in 2012). Definitely not a dated track.

Hopefully, this year, we will get some real female rappers to bring real rapping back to the forefront, rather than “Stupid Hoes”.

This past Tuesday, the rap kings Jay-Z and Kanye West realeased the most anticipated rap album of the summer “Watch the Throne” and also announced their dates for their upcoming concert tour.

Apparently I’ve been hiding under a rock or actually simply ignoring the Atlanta Hip Hop coonery that goes on but it looks like Atlanta Hip Hoppers Diamond and Scrappy have broken off their long relationship together and Diamond has wasted no time to find herself a new boy man, Soulja Boy.

And while Scrappy is just fine with Diamond and their relationship coming to an end, his mother, Mama D, wants the world know how dirty Miss Diamond alledgely is. She called into The Dirty Boys show last night on Hot 107.9 and WENT IN!

Hot 107.9 made their first major artist announcement for Birthday Bash 16th and unlike past years, they pulled out the big guns earlier this year by announcing that “F.A.M.E.” singer Chris Brown would be a part of this year’s all-star line-up. This marks the first time Chris Brown has performed at Birthday Bash.

Chris Brown released his 4th studio album F.A.M.E. and has been prepping for his world tour. ThatGrapeJuice posted some video footage last week of the young singer practicing some dance moves in the studio with his dancers and if the concert is anywhere close to what CBreezy is giving in the video, Birthday Bash attendees will be in for a hell of a show come June 19th.

There has been no secret since “Pink Friday” made it’s debut and even before, Nicki Minaj has been paving her way as the Queen of Hip-Hop Pop and today she’s made a gigantic leap to solidify her status as the Pop Rapstar by officially signing on the Britney Spear’s upcoming summer tour according to TMZ.

After an announcement from Enrique Iglesia that he would not be touring with Britney, Britney’s team was left stranded searching for another co-headliner for the tour.  According to sources, Nicki Minaj was a prospect from day 1 and during the past two weeks both team worked it out to have Nicki join the tour.

Britney’s summer tour kicks off June 17th in Sacramento, CA and Nicki will be wrapping up her current tour on the “I Am Music” tour on May 1st giving her just over a month to get ready to tour with Britney.

The “I Am Music” tour featuring Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and Travis Barker hit Atlanta this past Saturday at Philips arena. Nicki Minaj received rave reviews from fans for her performance and showed one lucky lady of Atlanta a real good time on stage by giving her a lap dance.

Nicki commanded to the ATLien, “You know the rules. You gotta keep your legs open, your hand behind your back, and your mouth shut! Legs open! Lets do it!” and then dropped the track “Dutty Love” dutty wining all on the lucky lady.

Whatever southern hospitality classes Atlanta was giving when rapper Gucci Mane was going to school clearly he failed or simply skipped the class all together. AJC reports that Gucci was arrested on Friday while visiting his probation officer in Dekalb County.

In a press release by Dekalb county Sheriff Thomas Brown, the rapper is accused of intentionally causing bodily harm to a woman by pushing her out of a moving vehicle. He is currently in Dekalb County jail.
