The videos continue to pour in from Kelly Rowland. Earlier this week, it was “Rose Colored Glasses” and now have her European single “Forever & A Day” which is a follow-up to her International hit “Commander“.
At this point, most of us are in the dark about whats going on with Kelly and her future album to be. As we reported last week, Kelly revealed at NY fashion week that her album would not be coming out now until 2011 and additionally sources told us that it would now be only one album compared to the original plans for a European album and a U.S. album. At this point it looks like it’s going to be a wait and see game for the sexy chocolate brown skinned R&B, POP, Dance songtress.

While we were wrapping up our Atlanta Black Gay Pride festivities, the Pop Princess Rihanna released her new single “Only Girl” from her forthcoming fifth studio album LOUD which hits stores November 2nd. The Stargate produced track resurrects Rihanna from her dark Rated R era and brings back the dance Pop diva we liked back on Good Girl Gone Bad. The single hits I-tunes September 21st. Welcome back Riri!

Last night, Kelly Rowland was in Philadelphia, PA on her promotional club tour at the Bamboo Bar. Our good friend and popular You Tuber Skorpion from The Skorpion Show met Kelly for the first time and they took this hot shot photo pictured above.
Kelly performed Dilemma, a snippet of her new song Rose colored garden, and When Love Takes Over. The day before, Kelly was in New York City where she did a special ‘Wal Mart Sound Check’ for her fans. Check out this hot ass video of Kelly perfoming a new track called “I’m That Chick”.
Kelly will be performing next Friday at Club ATL (Atlanta Peach Ballroom) for WassupNATL’s MANUAL LABOR weekend celebrating Atlanta Black Pride.
The ‘Goodies’ dance diva Ciara has been on an online promoting frenzy as of lately with the launch of her “Basic Instinct” webisodes, U-Streaming for her fans, a Basic Instinct Mix-Tape coming soon, and more. Along with the latest online promotions, Ciara recently partnered with VEVO and answered some questions from facebook fans. Check out the video below.
In other Ciara news, ThatGrapeJuice reports that Ciara’s long awaited anticipated album “Basic Instinct” has once again been pushed back from October 5th to October 19th. Many of you may have remembered 3 weeks ago when Kelly Rowland’s “Commander” video leaked on the internet and how upset Kelly was on twitter about the video being released and not completely edited. Well the video is COMPLETELY edited now and if you thought you would see a drastic change in the video, think again. As a matter of fact to the normal eye, you won’t see anything different. that’s not to say some details or editing was not done.

Last night, with three DJs and a drummer on set Kelis performed her second single “4th of July (Fireworks)” on the Jay Leno Show and NAILED IT. This is Kelis’s second single from her forthcoming album “Flesh Tone” which will be in stores and online July 6th.
I am convinced, Kelis is one of the most underrated artist in the game right now. Get into the video.
Bold and Beautiful are two words you can use to describe singer Kelly Rowland’s new single cover for “Grown Woman”. Perched topless on a plush comforter, Kelly is sporting one of the boldest curly haired Diana Ross-like hairdos I’ve ever seen and looks AMAZING. They went in on the photo-shopping of her skin color though. We all know Kelly is a beautiful chocolate Barbie sister but it seems like it’s a music industry standard to paint black women lighter.

Kelly has been a busy woman the past two months covering TV shows and concerts overseas, recently performing at Los Angeles Pride here in the U.S. and hosting her Album private listening event last night in New York City. B Scott was in attendance and stated “Kelly’s album is definitely going to surprise a lot of people and I think it’s safe to say that she has successfully carved her own lane in today’s industry and I’m anticipating nothing but great things from her in the future!”
One of our good friends and twitter buddys @musicenthusiast was at the listening party and stated when asked about Beyonce beef , Kelly replied, ““Where’s Michelle in this? Don’t disrespect the fact that she made DC3 great too!”
Kelly recently sat down with Perez Hilton and talked about her album a little bit. Perez had no problem asking Kelly about Matthew Knowles decision to release a statement that there would be no Destiny’s Child reunion and Kelly responded with a “Quite Frankly” look on her face, “Well. Matthew Knowles is not a member of Destiny’s Child, with all due respect, that’s not a decision he can make. It would be amongst myself, Beyonce, and Michelle.” That was a keke.
