President Barack Obama took to the famous Apollo theatre stage last night for a fundraiser but before making his speech he took the audience by surprise by crooning a snippet of Al Green’s hit “Let’s Stay Together”.

This past Monday, female impersonator Stasha Sanchez took the stage for The Stars of the Century show at the Jungle to end the MLK Atlanta Mini Black Pride weekend festivities. Sanchez performed snippets of  Pop Diva Rihanna’s “Cockiness” and “Where Have You Been”. Judging by the crowd’s response and tips, the performance was thoroughly enjoyed and we give Stasha an A+ for doing just what Rihanna does when she’s on stage, not dancing!

This week the big international  Consumer Electronic Show (CES) kicked off yesterday in Las Vegas where some of the biggest technology companies introduced their new electronic gadgets coming out for the New Year. While most company’s have focused on their products during their presentations on the first night, good ole Microsoft decided to take a TOTALLY different approach with their introduction on Monday night and introduced CES guests to the VERY FIRST…..  waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait for it   …….TWEET CHOIR!

I honestly had no idea that famed actress Betty White was 89 y/o. In all honesty, she looks not a day over 70 in my opinion. Both NBC and Betty Crocker has big plans for the sassy Golden Girl icon on Monday, January 16th at 8pm ET! Why Betty Crocker you ask? Well Betty Crocker is also celebrating their 90th year as an American icon and they will be presenting Betty White with a vibrant Triple Chocolate Celebration Cake inspired by the legendary star. The 1.5 hours show will feature a host of Betty’s celebrity friends and I’m sure many laughs and memories down memory lane.

The cake looks AMAZING! In addition to the cake Betty will receive, her guests will also receive a one of several hundred individual cakes that replicate the look of the Celebration Cake’s top tier. The press release stated, “the three-tiered Triple Chocolate Celebration Cake was flown by private plane from Betty Crocker’s Minneapolis home to Los Angeles for Betty White’s birthday , is a decadent chocolate cake layered with sumptuous chocolate mousse and rich chocolate ganache. Marrying classic and modern elements, the red, orange and magenta cake is decorated with dozens of fondant roses, shimmery edible pearls and golden candles — and hidden among the roses — a small replica of Betty’s beloved dog Pontiac.”

Congratulations to both Betty White and Betty Crocker on 90 years! And Amazing PR stuff Betty Crocker! We’ll be watching on Monday! Betty’s actual birthday is Tuesday, January 17th.

This past weekend, social media network Twitter was stormed with congratulatory tweets to the power celebrity couple Beyonce and Jay-Z from fans and celebrities on the delivery of their baby girl, Blue Ivy. It was back in September when Beyonce revealed to the world during the pre-show of the MTV VMA Awards that she was pregnant. The announcement set an all-time record for the most tweeted event/announcement in twitter history and left fans wondering when she would be due.

Today, an official statement came from the Carters themselves announcing the birth of their, GET INTO IT, NATURAL born 7lb baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter. Along with the announcement, a very special song titled “Glory” was dedicated to Blue Ivy from her father Jay-Z. As many of you may know, last weekend I celebrated my 31st Birthday with all of my friends, followers, and associates. It was a blessing to see another year and it was overwhelming to see all the love I received from everyone. While I can’t thank every single person that came out for the 3 day Leo Bash extravaganza, I would like to thank some of my best friends who made this weekend possible. Jerome Manning, Ty Wells, Sebastion, Mario, Drama Dupree, Xxavier, Melvin THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! It’s hard to keep a secret from a Leo and eventhough I knew minor bits and pieces of what may have went on during the Bday weekend, yall really GOT ME!!!! LOL

I want to say thanks to the promoters who opened up their club doors and allowed my friends to come and do what they wanted to do for the Bday, Fab 5 ATL, RTP Parties, Mario from WassupNATL, Kidd Dupree, Bobby! You guys rock!!!!

While Mary J Blige continues to work on her much anticipated 10th studio album, “My Life II: The Journey Continues”, the Queen of Hip Hop and R&B continues to make her mark in the music industry and Hollywood with a brand new music video from the lead single “The Living Proof” to the motion picture “The Help” which hit theatres today.

Mary looks amazing and the lyrics to the song and video captures from the movie tell a lot about the storyline for “The Help” and makes viewers want to go to see the movie. I don’t think they could have chosen a better artist to perform this song. Check out the video after the jump. 

The A-list NewYork is back! On July 25^th Logo will premier the 2^nd season of “Housewives with balls” the show that gave LOGO a struggling LGBT network the ratings & boost it needed. I watch a lot of reality (Kardashians, Braxtons, Housewives (OC, NJ, ATL)) & a few shows I tried to get into but couldnt (Kim & Kourt take NY, NY Housewives) and they all have a few appearances of gay people, but there never was a “Gay” reality show. When The A list premiered last year, I was excited that finally a Gay reality show was on, but scared because I wasnt sure it was going to keep me interested. Well Logo did a great job with last season. First Austin & Derek hated each other, but by the end of the season they were besties. If that aint some real life gay boy problems. Now I know Rodney & Reichen were the “Couple” & hopefully bring more to the table, But I could of did without them. Sorry. My Favorite was of coarse Ryan, I relate to him the most, & we are so much alike, from the “parent” role to the advice giver.

This season from what I have read is going to be Juicy, the ones we loved before we wont anymore, & the ones we hated, we will love. Hmm, thats Interesting. This season will have a woman, no not a tranny, a real woman, you know the ones who were born with a real vajayjay. That should be juicy. I cant wait. Wish they would talk or preview more about this season but for now, thats all. Dont forget, July 25^th. bye skittles, Ty
