Oprah has been on a social campaign promoting her OWN network and connecting more with her viewers and fans. Last night, Oprah made an impromptu call to the online radio show, The Kempire Radio, after being mentioned in the following question on twitter, “Question of the Night: How do you feel about @oprah interviewing The Kardashians? on http://KempireRadio.com“.
Oprah responded, “would have called in didn’t know the # didn’t see posted.”, and shortly after fans of the radio show, tweeted her the number and the rest was history!
In the interview Oprah candidly spoke, “It is the television business. For 25 years, I tried not to think about ratings. I just did what I did because I had a contract that allowed me to have the freedom of not worrying about ratings And so did I do them just for ratings, no. Do I hope that people will watch and I am trying to do things that I think will garner the public interest, yes. Because it’s the television business.”

After the show, Oprah commended Kempire saying, “u were on point in a very spontaneous moment. Maintained your cool. Kept the flow. Impressive. Keep it up.” Impressive indeed!
