I had the privilege of being one of Durand's colleagues when we both worked for Delta. He was by far one of the sweetest, humble and wonderful people you could have ever met. I am just so sad to hear this devastating news. He was the type of person that would give you his last. Many of my prayers will be made for his family and friends, especially his kids…he loved loving them so much.
I'm so hurt by what i just saw. I've been going to traxx's for a long time now and Durand always made me feel special when i walked into the club. No matter where i saw him even at kroger or walwart he made it point to speak and make me laugh. My prayers go out to all his family and friends, and just know now you have one more angel watching over you!
WELL I THINK SOMEONE NEEDS TO LOOK WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION BECAUSE THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME AROUND AND THEY REALLY DONT SEEM TO HAVE CARED I GO THERE ALOT AND HAVE FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS
Durand Robinson promoted non-violence and helped so many people in his life. For what ever reason he met his demise August 2010. "It’s been a hard year, I still look around the corner hoping he will show up, dancing that 2 Step, with a radiant smile plastered on his face". Weds. Aug. 31, 2011, 10:00 pm @ Figure 8, he will be remembered with a Celebration of Unity and Peace. This celebration is so symbolic because the location, Figure 8 is ~ 1 mile from where this incident took place. So many will come to share his legacy and a story or two. At the end of the night we will honor him by doing something that Durand would have said “Job well done”.
