So today this track from Teairra Mari called “Coins” leaked on the internet. It’s another track from the “Sponsor” R&B diva that will be on her new EP “Sincerely Yours” which will be available via I-Tunes on August 17th. As I hit play, the track sounded really familiar and it’s a track that Young Money’s Shanell used on her mix-tape Shut Up & Listen called “La La La La”. The track is produced by Hit-Boy.

Teairra Mari has some good things going for her with the release of her new EP as well as the debut of her first major movie role Lottery Ticket starring Bow Wow, Brandon T. Jackson, Naturi Naughton and Ice Cube in theatres August 20th. She recently sat down with Honey Magazine for a candid interview discussing everything from people comparing her to Rihanna to her sexuality. You can catch Teairra performing live at the Ultimate White Party during Atlanta Black Gay Pride at Opera nightclub on Monday, September 6th sponsored by WassupNATL.

I love Teairra, even though she hasn’t had a tremendous amount of success. She is doing quite a bit more these days. I just read a one-on-one interview (www.bit.ly/teairram) where she talks about what she’s going to be doing in the near future. She’s definitely on her grind, so you can’t hate on that. Keep it up, girl!
